Roderick Henkels represents the third generation of commitment to the company his grandfather founded in 1923. Professional Experience Mr. Henkels joined Henkels & McCoy in 1986 as a Field Supervisor of the firm’s York, Pennsylvania, Division. In 1988, he became Manager of the firm’s newly formed New England Division, managing telecommunications operations in the six-state area. In 1991, Mr. Henkels became Manager of the firm’s Southwest Division, located in Lewisville, Texas. In four years, he restructured the organization into a growing and profitable operation for the company. In May 1995, Mr. Henkels took a special assignment as Major Projects Manager for the Portland, Oregon, office managing all major projects within the Northwest. Mr. Henkels was appointed Assistant Chief Operating Officer in 1996 and relocated to the corporate office in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. He assisted the Chief Operating Officer in the day-to-day field operations for the entire company, assuming responsibility for the improvement of productivity through all lines of business. In 1998, Mr. Henkels was elected Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and in 1999, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In October of 2003, Mr. Henkels was promoted to Chief Executive Officer and President of Henkels & McCoy and in 2009 was elected Chairman. Industry & Civic Involvement Mr. Henkels was former Chair of and currently serves on the OSHA Electrical, Transmission and Distribution Partnership Executive Committee, is the former Chair of the Cradle of Liberty Boy Scouts of America Board and serves on the COLBSA Strategic Planning Committee, is a Board member of Cristo Rey High School, Philadelphia, PA, is a Member of the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is a Board member and Chair of the Jr. Hockey Committee, Wissahickon Skating Club. Mr. Henkels was former Chairman of the Board of Trustees and former Chairman of the Diversity Committee of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, Philadelphia, PA. He is a former member of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Board, a former member of The Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust Board and has served on the Liberty Mutual Advisory Board of Pennsylvania. Dillahunty is President and Chief Operating Officer of Henkels & McCoy, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc., and Executive Vice President Chief Operating Officer of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. In these roles, Mr. Dillahunty is responsible for Henkels & McCoy, Inc.’s three operating regions (East, Central, and West) as well as the Pipeline Division. He is also responsible for the implementation of the company’s market strategies for power, oil & gas pipeline, gas distribution, and communications. Professional Experience Mr. Dillahunty, a third generation contractor, has served the utility industry for over 35 years. In his 27-plus years with Henkels & McCoy, his success in developing large, complex projects and programs has helped drive significant company growth. His contributions include leading the Western Operations, Pipeline Division, and several ventures internationally. Mr. Dillahunty is one of the organization’s most accomplished executives in cultivating relationships with many of the company’s largest customers. Industry & Civic Involvement Mr. Dillahunty serves on the board of the Power & Communication Contractors Association (PCCA) and has served in similar capacities for the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) Foundation, the Western Energy Institute (WEI), and the Labor Committee for the Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA). Education Mr. Dillahunty holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Business from the University of Texas at Austin and Master of Business Administration in the Executive Business & Management Program at Pepperdine University. David J. Cox Executive Vice President of Operations, Henkels & McCoy, Inc David J. Cox has more than 30 years of progressive experience in construction operations, government contracting, and private business. Professional Experience He joined Henkels & McCoy in 1999 as Regional Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 2002, Mr. Cox became Director of the Washington Capital Region for the systems integration group of H&M NetWorks. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations of the Central Region in 2008 and Regional Vice President in 2012. Prior to joining Henkels & McCoy, Mr. Cox served as Vice President of Media Technologies, Inc., a leading producer of satellite teleconferences and video productions for the White House. He also served as Director of Production for the House Recording Studio of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he had overall responsibility for providing members of the United States Congress with timely, effective satellite communications to their congressional districts. He directed the live television coverage of the State of the Union address in 1993 and 1994. Education Mr. Cox holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Radford University. JAMES A. DUFFY JR. Regional Vice President, East Region, Henkels & McCoy, Inc. Senior Vice President, Gas Distribution, Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. James (Jim) A. Duffy Jr. serves as Regional Vice President of the East Region for Henkels & McCoy, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Gas Distribution for Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. Mr. Duffy’s business development skills have driven Henkels & McCoy business forward. Through his work in the East Region, Henkels & McCoy has expanded and grown its customer base while maintaining consistent bottom-line performance. Professional Experience Mr. Duffy joined Henkels & McCoy as Manager of Government Contracts in 1989 and was named Manager of National Accounts in 1993. In 1999, he was promoted to Vice President, Business Development. In this position, Mr. Duffy was responsible for the planning and management of Henkels & McCoy’s continued growth and expansion in design, engineering, construction, and maintenance for all aspects of electric power, gas, telephone, telecommunications, and voice/data/video. In 2001, Mr. Duffy was named Vice President of Network Systems & Solutions. His responsibilities included the overall financial, sales, operational, and administrative management of the National Accounts Organization as well as the 20 local voice/data/video offices nationwide. Mr. Duffy was promoted to Vice President of Operations of the East Region in 2005 and Regional Vice President in 2011. Education Mr. Duffy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Holy Family University and a Master of Business Administration from LaSalle University. MICHAEL J. GIARRATANO Regional Vice President, West Region, Henkels & McCoy, Inc. Senior Vice President, Power, Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. Michael J. Giarratano serves as Regional Vice President of the West Region for Henkels & McCoy, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Power for Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. His involvement in the power and gas utility engineering and construction business, as well as organizational design and integration, is integral to the success of Henkels & McCoy. Professional Experience Mr. Giarratano began his career with Henkels & McCoy in 2013 as West Region Vice President of power operations with a concentration and focus in developing the power business, key customer relationships, and continued safety performance improvement. During his 40 years in the industry, Mr. Giarratano served as President of the Utility Transmission & Distribution segment of Willbros Group, following the acquisition of Hawkeye Group and Infrastrux T&D Services, where he also served as President. Industry & Civic Involvement Mr. Giarratano is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association. Education Mr. Giarratano holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University. Pierre Adam Regional Vice President, Central Region Pierre Adam serves as Regional Vice President of the Central Region at Henkels and McCoy, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. As a member of the company’s leadership team, Mr. Adam is responsible for the complete direction, coordination, administration, and successful execution of all contractual obligations for utility infrastructure power, gas distribution, and communications projects throughout the Central Region. Professional Experience Mr. Adam joined Henkels & McCoy, Inc., in 2016 with over 27 years of industry experience driving production and the management of transmission and heavy infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Henkels & McCoy, Mr. Adam spent the previous 25 years with Kiewit. He began his successful career as a field engineer and was quickly recognized for his knowledge, skill, and leadership aptitude. Mr. Adam spent the past six years as the Vice President of Operations/Area Manager for Kiewit Power Constructors, located in Lenexa, Kansas. Education Mr. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Robert A. Riess, Sr. Vice President & Division Manager, Pipeline Robert A. Riess, Sr., is Vice President & Division Manager of the Pipeline Division of Henkels & McCoy, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. In this role, Mr. Riess is responsible for coordinating the development of the company’s pipeline business and project strategy, as well as management and oversight of all customer relationships. Professional Experience Mr. Riess joined Henkels & McCoy in 2016, bringing with him over 37 years of natural gas pipeline experience. He spent the first 12 years of his career with Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, holding various positions within the Construction Department, including Manager of Construction, and General Manager of Environmental Services. Following his successful term at Texas Eastern, his career path traversed ever‑increasing roles over the next 25 years. He worked at Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Company, and after four years left to join ARB Inc. as Vice President of the company’s Underground and Directional Drilling Division and their international operations. He returned to Sheehan Pipe Line as President & Chief Executive Officer in 2004, and in 2006 became a partner in the firm. Industry and Civic Involvement Mr. Riess previously served as Chairman of the INGAA Foundation and continues to serve on the Executive Board as an Ex-officio member. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pipe Line Contractors Association. Education Mr. Riess holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri - Rolla. Robert J. Moore Vice President, East Region Operations Robert (Bob) J. Moore is Vice President of Operations for the East Region of Henkels & McCoy, Inc., a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc. In this role, he provides senior leadership driving strategic, tactical, and operational development plans, as well as customer-focused programs in the power and gas distribution markets for the East Region. Additionally, Mr. Moore heads the Regional Executive Safety Team and serves as the East Region liaison on the company’s Procurement Council. He also plays a critical role as the executive sponsor for major power projects. Professional Experience Mr. Moore joined Henkels & McCoy in 2011, and has over 42 years of experience in the regulated and non‑regulated utility industry. Previously, Mr. Moore served as President of NAES Power Contractors, headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, following time spent as Senior Vice President during his tenure. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moore held a number of executive roles including Vice President of Asset Management and Director of Operations at Entergy Corporation and Vice President of Operations, Manager of Business Development, and Manager of Integration at Westinghouse Power, where he spent nearly 20 years. Education Mr. Moore holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from York College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Civil Engineering from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
