The company’s East Division Associate Buyers Sam Healy and Diane Turner had brief but focused one-to-one discussions with MBEs to determine if their services could meet the organization’s needs. Similar to speed dating, these 15-minute matchmaking sessions resulted in numerous positive outcomes.

According to Heather McCreary, “At H&M, we understand that supplier diversity is an approach that benefits everyone involved. It levels the playing field and increases opportunities for smaller minority businesses that bring real value to the table. Supplier diversity also enables our supply chain to reflect our workforce and the markets we serve. Inclusion and diversity align with our core values and are integral components of our culture.”
